PRIVACY POLICY

Your privacy is important to us. BVL respects your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across our website, BVL.org, and other sites we own and operate.

We only ask for personal information when we truly need it to provide a service to you. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent. We only collect and store information such as name, address, email address and phone number in order to process the shipment of items purchased through our website. We do not collect or store any credit card information; that information is handled by Stripe’s secure servers.

We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service. The data we store will be protected within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. We don’t share any personally identifying information publicly or with third-parties, except when required to by law.

Our website may link to external sites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and practices of these sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies.

You are free to refuse our request for your personal information, with the understanding that we may be unable to provide you with some of your desired services.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Bowlers To Veterans Link (BVL) requires full payment at time of purchase; we will not accept deposits or partial payments for merchandise. Once an order is placed, changes or cancellations cannot be made to the order. If payment of an order is declined by Stripe for any reason, we will notify you but cannot hold the order, and it will be cancelled.

Placing an order implies full acceptance of all our Terms and Conditions. As our Terms and Conditions may be updated occasionally, please be sure you’re familiar with them before placing an order. You can always contact us at Mary@BVL.org before placing an order, and we’ll be happy to assist you.

Since most of our items are one-of-a-kind, please note that items held in shopping carts are not removed from the Shop and therefore still available for purchase by others. Shopping carts are also cleared upon logout in order to keep the items available to all.

Payments

We have chosen Stripe to handle all our payment transactions. Stripe processes all your financial information through their secure servers, and they do not share any of your financial information with us — so BVL never sees any of your bank or credit card information. They offer the latest in technology and consumer protection with no fees to you. When Stripe notifies us of receipt of payment, the order is fulfilled within 5 business days.

Shipping

At this time, BVL ships only to the continental United States and its territories through the most appropriate carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.) for your order. All our merchandise prices include shipping and handling.

All orders will be shipped, based on availability, as soon as possible after payment has cleared, excluding weekends and holidays.

When available, we will email you your tracking information immediately after shipping the package.

All our items are carefully packaged to mitigate any damage. We cannot be responsible for any packages damaged or lost in transit and will not offer refunds in such a case. We will do all we can to help locate a missing package, but it is the buyer’s responsibility to make all claims for damaged or lost packages with the carrier.

Returns

General


With the exception of sale products (see below), BVL will offer store credit only for items returned within 14 days. A return will only be processed after you have contacted us and after the product is received by us in its original packaging and condition. No credit will be offered if you do not contact us within 14 days. All items returned after the 14-day period will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender. Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.

Incorrect Items

In the unlikely event that you receive an incorrect item, contact us within 72 hours of its receipt so we can ensure a prompt exchange. The exchange will only be processed after you have contacted us and after the product is received by us in its original packaging and condition. If we are unable to make an exchange, we will offer a full refund. No refund will be offered if you do not contact us within 72 hours or if you have changed your mind about the item. Refunds for incorrect items shipped will be processed through Stripe.
